Lori Wilkinson brings more than 20 years of national and international experience in sales, leadership, business development, customer, retail, and healthcare marketing, strategic planning and contract negotiation to Brown & Brown Insurance of Nevada. During her career, she has held a variety of positions with some of the top companies on the Fortune 100 including: The Coca-Cola Company, M&M/Mars Inc., and Nestle Foods®. She took on an entrepreneurial role by founding her own firm that offered sales, marketing and strategic alliance expertise to various small businesses and corporate partners. She later joined the team at Waymark Insurance Services, and now with the merger Brown & Brown Insurance of Nevada, she applies her expertise to new markets.

During her time with Waymark, Lori developed and launched Distinct Benefit Solutions, a sister company focused on delivering discount health and life insurance products to major employer groups and individuals. This business created a unique approach to healthcare, providing an added value for clients by focusing on long-term strategy instead of single transactions. The customizable, turnkey operation proved its competitive edge and positioned the firm to grow quickly and organically. In addition to running all facets of Distinct Benefit Solutions, Lori was also an active partner in Waymark with responsibility for strategy, sales and marketing, account management, and employee benefit marketing and education communication.

Lori holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Logan and comes from a fourth generation Nevada ranching family. A dedicated volunteer, she offers her time and talent to the Gary Morris Invitational Golf Tournament benefiting the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, which provides assistance to the families of fallen heroes, and American Airlines celebrity golf and tennis events benefiting Susan G. Komen and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
